I found these pictures on my phone from earlier this year and knew I had to put them on here. This was the day of the Father and Sons' Campout. All of the boys were super excited to spend some time with dad, and they were busy getting their camping backpacks, snacks, flashlights, and hiking boots. Max was no exception.

Unfortunately, it was still pretty early in the spring and super cold, so we didn't think it would be a good idea for Max to go. He was upset. In an attempt to make him feel like he was doing something cool, I took him to climb a mountain. We went up to Frog Rock and climbed the boulders, ate dinner on top of the mountain, and had a great time exploring together.
