New Year, New Goal

My goal for 2009 was actually to start a blog, but my goal this year is to finish all my last year's goals- so...here we are! Only 2 weeks into 2010 and accomplishing another goal. This was definantly one of those things where you say to yourself, "If I had known it was that easy, I would have done that years ago!"
So, we are the Wilson's : Chad, Kendra, Daniel, Spencer, Adam, and Max. A house full of handsome boys and me! Just how I've always liked it.
Chad is now a paramedic and is working more than any human being should, but we are all adjusting to his demanding schedule (although I'm still undecided if that is a good thing or not). He is also only a semester or two away from a long awaited bachelors degree- that will be a happy day, although, I'm pretty sure he'll just find something else to take up his time.
Daniel is 8 and in the 3rd grade. He is excelling academically, and in sports- mostly soccer which is a passion of his. Any suggestions on reading material for a boy who reads on a 6th grade level, but not ready for more mature content would be helpful since he cruises through books faster than I can check them out.
Spencer is 6 and in the first grade. He is conquering reading, spelling, and math and improving every day. He loves Everything and is a joy to be around. He is starting on an indoor soccer team with Adam next week, although he's WAY too nice for competitive sports. He's trying his hand at water and snow skiing (thanks to Aunt Teya and Uncle Sean).
Adam is 5 and dying to go to school. I'm doing my best to teach him preschool, but there's not a whole lot left in the preschool curriculum that he needs to learn. We are kindred spirits in all things creative and he helps me with whatever projects I am working on. He got his first pet this Christmas- a leopard gecko and is loving it!
Max is truly the baby of the family. He is spoiled and gets away with anything he wants if he puts on his cutest face. He is two, has no interest in potty training, but lots of interest in wrestling and Thomas.
As for me, I am loving every minute of my life. It can't get any more fun than a house full of very active boys and al their activities. I shuttle to practice, games, scouts, friends' houses, and then rush home to teach piano lessons or preschool.
So there's a synopsis of our lives to catch everyone up - I'll keep working on this but to be honest, it will be more for me. An easy way to scrapbook and journal all in one. Feel free to look on if you want!
